Muizenberg High School: Christian Union

Muizenberg High School has a large Christian community and our school has a society dedicated to bringing teenagers closer to Christ in an unashamed way and also to approach praise and worship in a non-conventional, fun way.
The society is open to all students and it meets weekly for praise and dedication from the Bible. It provides an open and honest platform for all students to express views, opinions and ask questions that may also help others in the group.
Every year an excursion takes place for three days and is referred to as “The C.U Camp”. Each year has a different theme and focuses on approaching life as a Christian teenager from a modern perspective.
The camp is all about having fun and playing games and also making new friends because we may not always know everyone that we see at school.
It also provides a way to lengthen the praise and worship sessions which would only take place for an hour every week.
It is run by a student committee as well as two staff members who plan activities for sessions and also logistics and themes for the annual camp.
